CAS 100-42-5 Styrene is not the same as acrylic, although they are both types of plastic with similar uses.
 
Styrene is a monomer used to create plastics like polystyrene (a hard, brittle plastic) and ABS (a tough, impact-resistant plastic).
 
Acrylic monomers are used to produce acrylic polymers, typically refers to polymers of methyl methacrylate (PMMA). It is known for its exceptional clarity, transparency, and weatherability.
