What is DMC reagent (CAS 616-38-6) used for?

1. Dimethyl Carbonate can replace the traditional use of toxic raw materials such as phosgene, dimethyl sulphate and methyl chloride.

2. DMC solvent can be used for the non-phosgene synthesis of polycarbonate, diphenyl carbonate, isocyanate and allyl diglycol carbonate.

3. DMC reagent is used to synthesise a variety of carbamate pesticides, such as carbaryl, as well as organic synthesis intermediates such as anisole, benzene dimethyl ether, alkyl arylamines, symmetric diaminarbazone, hydrazine methyl formate and so on.
