TEG Chemical Uses

Triethylene glycol is used as an excellent dehydrating agent for natural gas, associated gas in oil fields and carbon dioxide. It is also an excellent organic solvent and air fungicide. It is used as a plasticiser for polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate resin, glass fibre and asbestos pressed plates.

TEG chemical is also used in organic synthesis, for example in the production of brake fluids with a high boiling point and good low-temperature performance.
