Methyl methacrylate Monomer (MMA Monomer), also known as isobutyrate methyl ester, is an organic compound with the chemical formula C5H8O2. Methyl Methacrylate (CAS 80-62-6) is a colorless liquid, slightly soluble in water, and soluble in most organic solvents such as ethanol.

MMA is an organic compound with the formula CH2=C(CH3)COOCH3. Methyl methacrylate is a monomer produced on a large scale for the production of poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA).
