CAS 108-94-1 Cyclohexanone is an organic compound with the chemical formula C6H10O. It is a saturated cycloketone whose carbonyl carbon atoms are contained within a six-membered ring. It is a clear, colourless liquid with an earthy flavour and a minty taste when it contains traces of phenol. In industry, cyclohexanone solvent is mainly used as a raw material for organic synthesis and as a solvent for cellulose nitrate and paint.

Applications
